If you put “You Know You’re an MK When…” in front of every sentence it makes much more sense. All the ones that I can relate to are in blue, the ones that I don’t relate to are in red. Most likely, if they are in red, I know somebody that is an MK and will be like this, or already is. 1. You have a passport but no driver’s license. 2. The nationals say, “Oh, I knew an American once…” and then asked if you know him or her. 3. You aren’t terribly surprised when you do. 4. Someone brings up the name of a team, and you get the sport wrong. 5. You tell Americans that democracy isn’t the only viable form of government. 6. Fitting 15 or more people into a car seems normal to you. 7. You marry another MK 8. You don’t think two hours is a long sermon. 9. You think nothing of straddling white lines to pass between trucks or buses traveling side by side, because, “There was plenty of room, officer. Honest! At least six inches clearance.” Continue
