My Testimony

"God is awesome!" Hearing that comment changed my life. When I heard a friend say that, I realized for the first time that she knew God personally - and I didn't. Being raised in a Christian home, I knew all about God. I could recite any Bible story. Yet, I couldn't say I'd ever experienced knowing God personally.
That day I heard her say, "God is awesome," I said to God, "I want to know you like she knows you." I put my faith in Him and chose to accept the gift of salvation which he freely offers. The salvation that is freedom from the penalty of sin and death. The salvation that was paid for by Christ's death on the cross.
Since that day, my life has been a great adventure. I've seen God do things, in me, around me and through me that I would have never thought possible. I experience peace, love and joy daily that I never thought possible before knowing God. I can now say from personal experience that He truly is an awesome God!
