God’s Calling
In Exodus, when God called
Moses to lead His people out of Egypt, Moses told God he didn't feel
qualified. Can I ever identify with Moses! My service to God is marked with
God calling me to do things that I don't think I'm qualified to do. God
promised Moses in Exodus 3:12, "Certainly I will be with you," and then in
Exodus 4:12, he says, "Now then go, and I, even I will be with your mouth,
and teach you what you are to say." God's promise to me is that if I obey
Him, He'll speak and He'll be with me. What a reassuring comfort!
God has called me, as He
has all Christians, to be His ambassador (II Cor 5:20). God has called me to
make disciples of all people groups. Specifically, I believe He has called
me to live in India and help train church leaders how to make disciples so
that the church will be equipped to make disciples and spread His glory to
all the people groups in South Asia. His name will be declared by every tongue
tribe and nation and He has chosen us to help make this a reality. I often
feel inadequate, but all He asks for is obedience. He'll take care of the
rest.
